Spiritual growth is not only commanded but expected of every believer who is a true follower of Christ.

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory, both now and until that eternal day. 2Pet. 3:18

This ministry is designed for believers who desire to grow spiritually. This means regular, if not daily time spent in the serious study of the Word of God.

Like newborn babies, crave the pure milk of the word so that you may grow up in respect to your salvation. 1 Pet. 2:2

We are also warned not to remain spiritual babies and of falling into various kinds of spiritual dangers.

1Cor. 3:1  Brothers and sisters, I could not address you as people who live by the Spirit but as people who are still worldly—mere infants in Christ.

Heb. 5:12 In fact, though by this time you ought to be teachers, you need someone to teach you the elementary truths of God’s word all over again. You need milk, not solid food!     NIV11

We must be rooted and grounded in the Word of God to avoid false teachers and teaching.

2Pet. 3:17 Therefore, dear friends, since you have been forewarned, be on your guard so that you may not be carried away by the error of the lawless and fall from your secure position. NIV11

So we are no longer to be children, tossed back and forth by waves and carried about by every wind of teaching by the cunning of men by craftiness in deceitful scheming.      Eph. 4:14
