Second John\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

1 From<\/i> the elder to the elect lady and her children, whom I love in truth; and not only I, but also all who know the truth,<\/p>\n

2\u00a0 <\/span>because of the truth, which abides in us and will be with us forever:<\/p>\n

3\u00a0 <\/span>Grace, mercy and<\/i> peace will be with us, from God the Father and from Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love.4\u00a0 <\/span>I was very glad to find some<\/i> of your children walking in truth, just as we have received a commandment to do<\/i> from the Father.<\/p>\n

5\u00a0 <\/span>But now I ask you, lady, not as though I were<\/i> writing to you a new commandment, but the one which we have had from the beginning, that we love one another.<\/p>\n

6\u00a0 <\/span>And this is love, that we walk according to His commandments.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the commandment, just as you have heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.<\/p>\n

7\u00a0 <\/span>For many deceivers have gone out into the world, those who do not confess Jesus Christ as<\/i> coming in the flesh.\u00a0 <\/span>This is the deceiver and the antichrist.<\/p>\n

8\u00a0 <\/span>Watch yourselves, so that you do not lose what we have but that you may receive a full reward.<\/p>\n

9\u00a0 <\/span>Everyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.<\/p>\n

10\u00a0 <\/span>If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your<\/i> house, and do not give him a greeting;<\/p>\n

11\u00a0 <\/span>for he who says a greeting to him shares in his evil deeds.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

12\u00a0 <\/span>Having many things for you, I do not want to write with paper and ink but I hope to come to you and speak face to face, so that our joy may be made complete.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
